March – MayCherry blossom at Kintaikyo in early April. Clear, mild weather along the coast.
June – AugustWet in June. The cave is the coolest place in the prefecture in August.
September – NovemberThe best months for the coast roads and the gates at Motonosumi.
December – FebruaryCold wind off the sea. Fugu is at its best now, and Shimonoseki is busy with it.
