Nobody watches this inbox at three in the morning. If you need help in Japan now: 119 for an ambulance or fire, 110 for police, #8000 for a child who is unwell at night. An ambulance is free.
If you need something booked, translated or telephoned, your hotel front desk will do it faster than anyone, and the inn at the main station will do it in English.
A telephone number that does not work, a closing day that has changed, a price that is out of date, a place that has shut. This is the most useful message you can send us, and we would rather hear it bluntly than not at all.
Tell us the page and what you found. We will correct it and mark it as checked.
A photograph, a description, or a mention of a business. A single line is enough, and you do not have to explain yourself.
Two kinds of request are acted on first and questioned afterwards: a photograph in which a child can be recognised, and a photograph you own that we are using without the right licence. Both are taken down while we check, not after.
Especially if you live there. We are more interested in the restaurant your family has gone to for twenty years than in anywhere already on every list.
If it is somewhere that would suffer from crowds, say so — we would rather leave it out than spoil it.
If we have described your business and got something wrong, or you would prefer not to be listed at all, tell us. We will change it or remove it, and we will not ask you to pay to be corrected.

What we will tell you: the pages, the readers and the position. What we will not sell: a mention in our own text, or a change to the order of anything we have written.
