MonthsWhat it is like
March – MayWarm early. The coast road is at its best, and the gorge is green and full.
June – AugustHeavy rain in June. Hot and bright after that, and the sea is warm into September.
September – NovemberOctober and November are close to perfect.
December – FebruaryThe mildest winter in Kyushu. Mangoes are out of season, but the coast is empty.
